ACHIEVEMENTS
We were appointed as Term Consultants to monitor the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) maintenance service provider’s performance, advise on day-to-day operation and maintenance issues, and provide advice and assistance with the management of the service charge budget.
Focus FM was appointed to provide Building Services Term Consultancy at 37-39 & 41 Corn Street by Ashdown Phillips & Partners on behalf of their client, for their redeveloped buildings in central Bristol.
These adjoining buildings, which consist of 18,000 square feet (sq. ft.) and 32,000 square feet (sq. ft.) of prime office space over 5 & 6 levels, also have separate retail and leisure tenants on the Ground floor.
Principally, our work on these properties includes regular contract performance review meetings with the Client and Contractor, and monitoring and auditing of the Contractors MEP services planned maintenance and reactive activities. Our role is also to ensure that best practice procedures are followed, and that all statutory, mandatory and routine planned preventative maintenance activities are completed in line with contract requirements.
Focus FM also provides assistance with any technical and engineering related issues that become apparent in respect of the Landlord and Tenant installations, ensuring that these are dealt with effectively by offering sound advice to the Client across a wide range of engineering service activities.
