Management and support during sectional completion and handover. System specific training and witnessing of testing; Setting up landlord M&E and VT Engineering Maintenance Contracts for phased commencement; Review of Technical and Commissioning information, including draft O&Ms.

Focus FM was engaged on behalf of the developer to assist with the Soft Landing process at this large multi-use development, undertaking a number of critical tasks to aid the client in the handover process. This ensured that the various Engineering MEPH and VT Service elements of the site were studied, verified and transferred into normal operating conditions. 

The tasks undertaken to achieve this included the review of technical documentation ensuring all relevant MEPH and VT information was present and relative throughout the installation and at sectional practical completion of the development.

Our Consultants were in attendance at the training and demonstration of key elements of the systems, such as the fire alarm system cause and effects and the scenario testing of the electrical distribution, along with the demonstration to building control.

Focus FM oversaw the procurement and mobilisation of new MEPH and VT Maintenance Contracts. These were phased in with flexibility in mind as different sections of the development were completed and handed over. Our work also included managing the liaison between operational and construction teams, to ensure smooth transition.
